Impact Idler

In order to prevent damage or degradation to the belt, a conveyor impact idler is utilised to cushion the shock of material being loaded from a chute at the loading and transfer point. The impact rubber rings are comprised of vulcanised wear and impact resistant rubber to ensure strong bonding.

Applications

Conveyor Impact idlers are typically built for coal washing plants, coking plants, chemical plants, and other environments with corrosive conditions. They are used to collect material from belt conveyors in order to lessen and decelerate impact for conveyor belts. If utilised in corrosive situations, impact rollers have good corrosion resistance and can have a lifespan that is five times longer than that of regular rollers.
